It is a strictly regulated process where gold is heated and high-pressure bonded using multiple layers of gold to a base metal, usually jeweler's brass. 14kt Gold-Filled is highly durable and is the closest to solid gold.

1. Take a current ring in your personal jewelry collection and a ruler with mm measurements.
2. Using the mm side of the ruler, measure the diameter of the inside of the ring.

Cut a Paper Strip
Cut a strip of paper about 1/2 inch wide and long enough to wrap around your finger. -
Wrap the Paper Around Your Finger
Wrap the paper around the base of the finger you want to size. Ensure it's snug but not too tight. -
Mark the Paper
Use a pen or pencil to mark where the paper overlaps. -
Measure the Paper
Lay the paper flat and measure the length from the edge to the mark you made with a ruler in millimeters. -
Find Your Ring Size
Use a ring size chart to match the measurement in millimeters to your ring size.
